Since
the winter term 1996/97 I am registered at the WWU
Münster for the subject business
informatics and now I hope to receive my diploma in the winter of
2001.
Basic study:
-
At the beginning of the summer term 1997 I participated in the business
planning game OPEX. The target of this planning game is it to get
a first summary view into the economical problems of a typical oligopoly
enterprise. There is further information about the planning game here.

In the SS 98 I participate in the software practical course.Our job
was to be developed in a team of approx. 15 persons a timetable information
system inclusive ticket reservation for the railway. The system should
cover the following functions: the maintenance and administration
of master data, a connecting search and statistical analyses. As programming
language Java was given to us. Our result can be viewed as Java Applett
under the address www.sopra98.weite-welt.com.

Since the summer term 1998 I am working as a student auxiliary at
the chair of Prof. Grob.
Beside the Java - programming I am working with the tool Doc
to Help.

With beginning of the term 98/99 I get into a group of students creating
the lecture register. With the help of an ACCESS data base and a Coldfusion
we collect the lecture data of the chairs for the commentated lecture
register via Internet.

At the end of the WS 98/99 I concluded my basic study with the Vordiplom.
Main study:

Project seminar in the SS 99: "The practice term" for business
informatics students in Münster.
In the context of the project modular teaching and learning units
conclused toknowledge fields were developed supported by videos, sounds
and interactive elements. My emphasis was the topic Shareholder Value
and the Java - programming.

In the Summer of 1999 I did a practical course in the marketing/sale
department of the agricultural machinery factory GRIMME,
where I developed a first prototype of a product information CD-Rom
based on HTML and JavaScript.

Seminar "Object-oriented modelling of distributed systems"
(OOMVS) in the WS 99/00. The emphasis of the seminar was the execution
of software engineering with the help of the UML (Unified Modeling
Language) in connection with the OCoN-Approach
(Object Coordination Nets) in the Analyse and Design phase for a distributed,
agent-based production system. The result of the modelling is available
in german as PDF
file (approx. 1.3 MB).
